Muve’s Challenge

Muve had invested in a bespoke client portal that gave clients real-time visibility into their real estate transactions. However, their existing practice management system could not integrate with the portal, creating inefficiencies and requiring staff to enter the same information across multiple systems.

The firm needed a modern platform capable of supporting its entire real estate workflow, from client onboarding and document generation through to title registration, matter management, and post-completion processes. Just as importantly, the new system needed to integrate with Muve’s existing technology stack to create a single, connected experience for both staff and clients.

Muve also wanted to make it easier for referral partners and introducers to generate accurate real estate quotes for prospective clients, helping to simplify lead generation and improve the client journey from the very first interaction.

Solution

Muve implemented Hoowla’s practice management software to support its entire real estate law workflow, from client onboarding and document generation through to title registration, matter management, and post-completion administration.

Using Hoowla’s APIs and webhooks, Muve’s bespoke client portal integrates seamlessly with the firm’s practice management system, ensuring clients receive real-time updates throughout their transaction without the need for duplicate data entry. This creates a connected experience for both clients and staff while improving operational efficiency.

Automated reminders, key date tracking, workflow management, and document generation help the firm maintain consistency across a high volume of transactions, while reducing administrative overhead.

To support business development and referral relationships, Muve also provides mortgage brokers, real estate professionals, and other referral partners with access to Hoowla’s online quoting tools. This allows partners to generate instant estimates for prospective clients and stay informed on the progress of referred matters.

Bringing Legal Accounts Into One System

In June 2024, Muve expanded its use of Hoowla by migrating its legal accounts from Quill into Hoowla’s fully integrated legal accounting platform, creating a unified system across both operations and finance. The move followed several years of successfully using Hoowla for case and workflow management and formed part of the firm’s continued investment in scalable technology to support its rapid growth. Muve has been recognised by The Sunday Times as one of the UK’s fastest-growing private companies.

The migration included transferring a significant volume of historical accounting data while ensuring business continuity for a high-volume real estate law operation. By bringing legal accounts and practice management together in a single platform, Muve gained improved visibility across departments, streamlined financial processes, and reduced the need for staff to switch between multiple systems.
